I made this cute little card for one of my best friends little boy, Elijah. They came to the US back in June and we were very lucky to have them over for about a week! Talk about a treat! I know Elijah is mad about trains so I thought what other card would he really enjoy? The Choo Choo is such a cute set for any little boy who likes trains. And of course it goes with the wheel that does the tracks. I used the Build a Cupcake set to make the clouds :-).
Thought this is another really cute card for the Verve Stamps July DIva Dare 2012.
Hope you like it.
Hugs,
Renate

- Hi, my name is Renate, I am an Independent Stampin Up Demonstator.I moved with my husband and 2 monkeys from Australia for the time being. And seeing as Jamie travels a bit with work, I needed a hobby to keep me busy. And I also thought it was about time to join the rest of the world and get a blog/website.So here it is, my attempt at a blog/website. I will be sharing my card and crafty creations here and hope you like browsing them. Maybe get some ideas to try later on perhaps? Also I can custom make cards or invitations for any event, just email me to discuss. Thanks for hopping by and hope to see you soon, Hugs, Renate

this is perfect for the Diva Dare! LOVE the little train. My son loved trains too when he was little...had all the Thomas trains and videos and used to repeat lines from the show in an English accent! LOL Thanks for answering our Dare this month!

My son also loves trains but my friends little boys birthday was before my son so thought I'd try out this little set I've had for ages...How cute playing with trains and imitating the british accent! Kids are so adorable with the things they come up with!
Hugs,
Renate

WOW... you featured Elijah's card on the blog, we feel so special :) It is a very cute card indeed and i can't believe how quickly you came up with it. He really loves it and it's still sitting on his lamp table. He once told me it's from America :) from Aunty Renate of course. It is a very special card, thank you!

This is just the most adorable little boy birthday card! Love what you've done with the different cars, the gift packages, and the tracks. Thanks for joining the Verve Diva Dare!

Thank you ladies! Funny story, this was not the card meant for the challenge, it was this one:
http://downunderserendipity.blogspot.com/2012/07/mums-just-because-and-mums-birthday-card.html
I completely forgot to click on the title and link the proper title, instead I linked the main blog title and when i uploaded this card this is the one that stuck....GRR, but it is still a very sweet card :-). The other one was a slightly more feminine card.
Hugs,
renate
